Joins organizations seeking ban on autonomous weapons
Saint Paul, MN, Feb.5, 2020 – Taproot Security joined hundreds of organizations, technology experts, and Nobel laureates in the Stop Killer Robots campaign for a ban on AI-powered autonomous military weapons currently under development in several nations.
In his pledge of support, Taproot founder Mike McCormick wrote "Autonomous weapons open up a whole new threat vector by which cyber-attacks will almost certainly lead to kinetic attacks, including large-scale death and injury, unless we keep a human operator in the control loop."
